Regina Police continue investigating an incident Tuesday afternoon near Dewdney and Albert after a report a woman pulled out a gun, pointed it a nearby vehicle and allegedly fired it.
In a release, Police say the call that came in indicated the suspect had fired the weapon into the passenger window, but that caller also indicated clicks were heard and not bangs.
BBs and CO2 cartridges were found in the vehicle, but no firearm or pellet gun was found.
The driver was detained but later released without charge. The woman was not with the driver when taken into custody.
Police add the two occupants in the vehicle that was aimed at did not know the female suspect and was unaware a weapon had been produced, but one of them admitted some kind of altercation had happened.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Regina Police Service at 777-6500 or Crime Stoppers
