Grain Growers of Canada, the national voice of Canada’s grain farmers, have launched a new logo and website.
“We are excited to introduce our new brand today, on Canada’s inaugural Agriculture Day,” said GGC President, Jeff Nielsen, who farms grains in Olds, AB. “It is the ideal time to reach policy makers and consumers with the voices of grain farmers from across the country.”
The new logo reflects the range and dynamic nature of grain farming, an industry that is constantly innovating and evolving to address the needs of a changing environment and growing global population.
The agriculture and agri-food sector’s exceptional economic potential was recently recognized by the federal government’s Advisory Council on Economic Growth which singled out agfood as a key growth sector, ready for investment.
“Canada’s grain farmers are proud of our role in the economy and work hard for our country,” continued Mr. Nielsen. “What we need from government is a policy and regulatory environment that recognizes our contribution and allows us to meet our potential. GGC’s new website provides information on how we can all work together to achieve our goals.”
