Domestic violence continues to be a major issue and concern in Saskatchewan after numbers from Stats Canada show for a 3rd straight year, the province was the leader in the number of incidents reported.
Stats Canada says Saskatchewan has the highest rate of domestic violence reported to police with 666-per-100-thousand people.

Saskatchewan also had the highest rate of domestic violence against children at 465-per-100 thousand people.
Over 48-hundred domestic violence reports were called in to police across Saskatchewan by women with over 11-hundred complaints being received by men.
