Fixing roads in Regina’s residential areas remains a priority for the city.
Monday night city council dedicated 10.6 million dollars to repairing residential streets.
In total 67 streets will see some sort of work done to them in 2017, but Ward 4 and 7 will not have any of their roads repaired.
The city’s Norm Kyle says just because that is the case this year, it does not mean those wards will never receive repairs to their streets.
Kyle says they ask for patience when it comes to residents wondering when they will get their streets re-pave or patched as the investment is a long term strategy.
