Regina residents are being reminded that their voices matter when it comes to adding their input towards the city’s smoking bylaws.
In the past week, 5,495 people have submitted the online questionnaire, which the city says is the highest number of respondents to a city survey in recent years.
On social media and via email@example.com, the city says they have received more than 2,150 comments, and they want to encourage more people to speak up.
In the survey launched last Friday, the city asks how residents feel about smoking in outdoor public spaces like patios, parks, athletic fields and festivals.
There are three ways you can voice your opinion on Regina’s smoking bylaws:
- Take the online survey at Regina.ca/smoking.
- Attend an open house:
- Local businesses and event organizers (Wed., March 8 at City Hall, 5:30 p.m.)
- Public (Thurs., March 9, at Cathedral Community Centre,
2900 13th Avenue, 5:30 p.m.)
- Email your thoughts to firstname.lastname@example.org
