The biggest telethon in the nation has wrapped – but Saskatchewan residents managed to ring-those-phones to the tune of $5,000,274.
Over 20 hours, Telemiracle 41 raised the money, which goes to the Kinsmen Telemiracle Foundation.
It supports people and groups in Saskatchewan by providing special needs equipment and access to medical assistance.
This year’s event was held at TCU Place in Saskatoon. In 2016, the telethon raised $5.2 million.
All of the money raised stays in Saskatchewan to support more than 1,000 grant applications each year.
Telemiracle is run by over one-thousand volunteers.
