A 34 year-old Regina man faces seven charges in connection with three recent break and enters in the city.
On September 21, 2016, police received a report of a break and enter to a restaurant in the 3900 block of Gordon Road. The suspect or suspects had pried open an ATMand VLTs.
On December 13, 2016, at about 2:08 a.m., a business in the 2100 block of Albert Street was broken into. The suspect or suspects were able to access the business premises without drawing attention and took the time to break into a safe, removing a large sum of cash.
On March 3, 2017, at about 4:30 a.m., a restaurant in the 400 block of Albert Street was broken into. The suspect or suspects again entered the business without being detected and attempted to pry open an ATM. The suspect(s) were unsuccessful and left the business.
On March 5, 2017, police executed a search warrant on a residence in the 1000 block of Athol Street and seized numerous items of evidentiary value.
A 34 year-old man was arrested from the residence and subsequent investigation led to numerous charges.
34-year old Thomas Wesley Polsom made his first court appearance on these charges in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. om Monday.
