Eddie Steele wasn’t out of work for long.
One week after the defensive lineman was released by the Edmonton Eskimos, he signed a deal with the Saskatchewan Roughriders Tuesday.
Steele had 14 tackles in 18 games for the Eskimos last season.
This will be his 3rd CFL stop as the Winnipeg native started his career in Hamilton.
The team also announced they’ve re-signed long snapper Jorgen Hus.
This will be the 3rd year in a Rider uniform for the former Regina Ram.
