The Saskatchewan Party says the NDP is guilty of political posturing.
A board of internal Economy meeting was held Wednesday morning at which time the government would have been permitted to reduce the salaries of MLA”s by three and a half percent. but the opposition had other plans.
They didn’t show up at the meeting meaning it couldn’t be held meaning the measure announced by Premier Wall could not be approved.
While the NDP did say Tuesday they are in favour of the pay cut, they want the government to take further action like reducing the amount of MLA’s by at least 5.
Harrison says while the NDP did not come through today, there are other ways for the initiative to be approved.
