On my way out the door this morning and there it is the clipping from the Regina Leader Post from July 2016 when Eric Church closed out Craven Country Jamboree, WHOA – party in the summer sun and now freeze March madness!
#Holdin’MyOwnTour. I think Saskatchewan is ready! Its been too long!
Three hours of Church! The choir is gathered. Gowns are optional – I would suggest – jeans, t-shirt and leather jacket might be what the choir will wear for this performance!
Drive careful, we should see better conditions than that of the Winnipeg show.
Three hours of great music from an artist that has gradually come into his own.
Eric is re-writing the book of how to do things so that the fan base comes first. Well, maybe his artistic license comes first – you just know he’s not selling out the marketing machine of a label. More like working around the guidelines – because that is what they are, just guidelines!
The Church gang are wise enough to do it the way they want.
AND its WORKING!
Sure, there are glitches and I think as a Church Choir member we maybe felt that waiting for the tickets to be released, but that was done for a reason! Hit the road scalpers!
New merchandise, the fabulous El Paso by Lucchese Boot display – order yours at the show! And running into all your friends on a Thursday night.
Give yourself lots of time to get to Saskatoon, out to SaskTel Centre and into the show. Bring money, a great attitude and remember what you learned from a 3 year old!
It’s time to go to Church!
