A 17-year-old boy is in custody after his erratic driving caused a string a collisions in downtown Regina Friday night.
According to Regina police, just before 9 p.m., members received calls about a car dangerously driving at high speeds down McDonald Street.
Soon after, the driver got into a hit-and-run collision in the southbound lane on Broad Street and 11th Avenue.
The teenager then collided into two other vehicles at the intersection of Victoria Avenue and Broad Street, before crashing into a pole on a median, where it became stuck.
A man and a woman in another vehicle suffered minor injuries in the last collision; they were both taken to hospital, where they were treated and later discharged.
Regina police haven’t stated any further details, but have said the driver is set to be released later Saturday afternoon.
