Regina Pats goaltender Tyler Brown has been recognized for his work over the past week by being named the WHL goaltender of the week.
The 19 year old posted three wins in three starts as the Pats clinched the Eastern Division title with one of the wins being a shutout against the Moose Jaw Warriors.
Brown is 31-8-5-1 with a 2.65 GAA, .912 SV% and five shutouts.
He ranks among the WHL leaders in GAA (fourth), wins (T-5th) and shutouts (T-2nd).
It is the first time this season he has won the award.
