Yesterday morning I hit the dentist’s office after I got off work and actually made it in to the office about 15 minutes early. Within 5 minutes of my arrival I was actually in the chair! No one in the office comes to get me anymore to lead me to where I’m getting my work done. Shalon, the receptionist, just tells me which room to head to. So I go and I wait. I don’t know where I’d rather sit and wait. In an office chair or a dental chair? I guess it doesn’t really matter. There are magazines in both locations and they’re all just as bad. Someone really needs to drop off a few Star magazines down at that place.
Driving in to work this morning I was headed south on Albert approaching some red lights at Victoria Avenue. There was a small car to my right. I came to a stop at the lights, but the car that was beside me just kept on going through the intersection like he didn’t have a care in the world. Who needs to stop at a red light at 3 o’clock in the morning, right? I flashed my brights a couple of times from where I was parked as if to say “hey man, what are you doing?” He never noticed and just kept on his merry way.
I could almost write a blog everyday about my drive into work. It seems every morning I encounter a vehicle that’s either weaving, driving too slowly, or running red lights.
If the cops would deputize me I’m sure I could fill the police coffers with a lot of money from the tickets I could write during my short drive into work.
I wouldn’t mind being a cop. It would be great to be in a business where the customer is always wrong!
