Two people, a 27 year old woman and a 27 year old man, are facing charges after an incident early Sunday morning in the city’s northwest end.
Police say they spotted a vehicle driving erratically at 2nd and Pasqua just before 5 AM.
They attempted to stop that vehicle on Sherwood Drive, but the driver evaded them heading north of McIntosh.
The vehicle left the city before coming back in on Highway 6.
A spike belt was used to stop the vehicle with that tactic being successful as the two occupants of the vehicle were taken into custody with a sawed=off firearm being seized.
Brandy Stewart and Bradley Jerome face multiple charges and are making their first court appearance Monday.
