The Prince Albert Raiders have won the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft lottery.
The Raiders moved up two spots to earn the first overall selection in the draft which will go May 4 in Calgary.
The draft was for the six teams in the league which did make the playoffs.
The draft order for the first six picks will be Prince Albert, Kootenay, Vancouver, Edmonton, Saskatoon and Spokane.
The order of the second round and all other rounds will be the inverse order of final 2016-17 WHL regular season standings.
Players eligible for the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft will be 2002-born players who reside in Alberta, B.C., Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Northwest Territories, Yukon, Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
