It’s nearly time to nominate which road in Saskatchewan is the worst.
Starting Monday, April 3, 2017, drivers, pedestrians, cyclists AND motorcyclists can now all participate in the 6th annual CAA Saskatchewan Worst Road Campaign.
Christine Niemczyk is the communications director with CAA Saskatchewan.
She says CAA is looking forward to receiving all this year’s entries.
“What I love about the campaign is we hear from everybody from all over Saskatchewan,” say Niemczyk. “This whole campaign is generating conversation from motorists and travellers from northern Saskatchewan too. It’s a wonderful opportunity for motorists travelling on all the highways.”
Niemczyk says all the findings will be delivered to the Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure which then is anticipated to do its due diligence.
Last year, Highway 354 near Dilke had the distinction of being named the worst road in Saskatchewan for the second straight year.
