G3 Canada has announced construction of two new grain terminals in Saskatchewan.
G3 CEO Karl Gerrand says each terminal will cost between 40 and 50 million dollars.
He says the facilities will be built north of Melville and west of Saskatoon.
He says G3 has more expansion plans to build seven or eight more elevators.
He says they would likely be built in Western Saskatchewan and Alberta.
Saskatchewan farm leaders have expressed support for new grainhandling facilities and hope increased competition will mean higher prices.
The Saskatoon and Melville terminals will be completed in time for the 2018 harvest.
