Legislation is now in place for the province to make the move from 12, down to one single health authority.
Jim Reiter Minister of Health said announcements regarding a CEO and Board can be expected in the next couple months.
Reiter also said they are looking at a salary cap for high ranking officials after concerns were heard to much money would be going to those employees.
The province is still aiming to have the new single health authority functioning by fall 2017.
