Saskatchewan’s Health Minister has said those who took the government’s voluntary separation offer will not be working with the new single health authority.
Concerns over double dipping have been raised in recent weeks.
Reiter said he wants to confirm with those who voiced a concern, that will not happen.
“I want to reaffirm what I’ve said several times in the past, I’ve had a number of people from across the province voice their concern to me that people will get severance packages and then land a role in the new provincial health authority, I’m confirming that will not happen,” Reiter said.
One CEO and six senior executives accepted the package, making the total cost 1.9-million-dollars.
Over 70 were offered the severance.
