Saskatchewan pulse exports to India are getting a big boost.
India has renewed its fumigation waiver for Canadian pulse crops to June 30th.
India has granted a last-minute three month extension to a waiver allowing Canadian peas and lentils into the country without the required fumigation to kill insects.

Pulse Canada Chair Lee Moats says the insects of biggest concern to India are not found in this country.
Moats hopes the extension will eventually lead to a long-term, predictable system for farmers and exporters.
Canada sold 1.1 billion dollars of pulses to India last year with the vast majority grown in Saskatchewan.
