If you travel east of Regina, expect some short delays on Highway 1 between Tower Road and the Pilot Butte access.
As part of the construction of the Regina Bypass, resurfacing will be done on the roadway.
Drivers will use crossover lanes to the westbound lanes to form a single road while work is being completed.
Garrett Doyle, Area Manager says they want to remind everyone to obey the posted traffic signs and slow down while passing workers.
“The message is to slow to 60 through the work zone,” says Doyle. “Safety is a priority for us. Drive the posted speed-limits and obey the traffic signs.”
Temporary traffic lights will be set up at Tower Road.
Once the eastbound lanes have been re-surfaced the same process will occur for westbound lanes. That is expected to take place in July.
