Yesterday after work I thought I’d quickly drop into the carwash and do some “cosmetic surgery” on my vehicle. I was only there a couple of weeks ago so it didn’t need a good scrubbing, just a good rinse to wash all of the dust off. When I rolled down the street to the carwash I noticed vehicles were lined up to get in to a stall. This was at 10:30 in the morning. Doesn’t anybody in this city work? Oh well, I guess I might just make that a weekend project.
When I pulled up to the lights at Albert and Sask. Dr. this morning there was a car waiting for the red light to turn green. I pulled up next to it and noticed a young lady sitting there texting. As a matter of fact, I left her there for a couple of seconds after the light turned green and I moved on. Where are these darn “bus cops” when you need them? Hey, can’t we run city buses 24 hours a day in this city?
This morning my wife has to take Max back to the vet to get that growth cut off that I blogged about last week. Unfortunately, things are a lot worse than the vet had thought they might be. We found out on Tuesday that our little buddy has a cancer that can’t be treated. The surgeon will cut the growth off and have it tested to determine how much longer Max will be with us. It’s been a sad week in the Lewis household.
So, onward we will go, bracing for the worst and hoping for the best!
