Budget cuts continue to dominate debate in the Saskatchewan legislature.
NDP leader Trent Wotherspoon says much of the province is in an uproar over tax hikes and service cuts.
Wotherspoon says much of the province has rallied against cuts to libraries, schools, municipalities and STC.
Premier Brad Wall says difficult measures are necessary to reach a balanced budget in three years.
But he says the province has provided record revenue sharing with municipalities over the past ten years, with funds more than doubled in that time.
Premier Wall says the municipal sector has been able to put away millions in reserves and now may be a time to use part of it.
