Big River RCMP say an 11-year old girl is in hospital in Saskatoon after being hit by a car.
According to RCMP, the incident happened Sunday, April 9th around 9:00pm.
Five youths were walking on the road when they were apparently struck by a vehicle – which failed to stop after the collision.
Four of the children sustained minor injuries, while an 11-year old girl was airlifted to RUH in Saskatoon by STARS Air Ambulance.
Big River and neighbouring RCMP detachments are seeking the public’s assistance in gathering additional information on the vehicle and its occupants.
The vehicle is described as a 4-door white vehicle that may have sustained front end damages during the collision.
Witnesses describe seeing 6 or 7 occupants in the vehicle at the time of the collision.
RCMP Traffic Reconstructionist and Big River RCMP continue to investigate.
