Regina basketball player Quinn Dornstauder is going to take a shot at the WNBA.
Having completed her career at Arizona State University, the 21-year-old has accepted an offer to attend the training camp of the Los Angeles Sparks next month.
Dornstauder averaged over 10 points and six rebounds a game in her senior season with the Sun Devils and finished her college career ranked 3rd in all-time blocks with the team having registered 138 in 128 games played over her four year career.
Dornstauder, who went to high school at Leboldus, has had also had international experience playing for Canada as she helped the team to a silver medal at the 2015 World University Games in South Korea.
No Saskatchewan-born player has ever graced a WNBA roster.
