Regina police are investigating after a pair of bank robberies Friday afternoon.
Police say they were sent to a bank on the 300 block of Albert Street North around 3:20 after a man walked inside and approached an employee saying he had a weapon even though none was seen. He escaped with an undisclosed amount of money.
Just over an hour later, a man walked inside a bank on the 3800 block of Albert Street, approached an employee demanding money, and escaped with an unknown amount of cash.
In the first incident, the suspect was described as about five-foot-ten, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and jeans while in the second incident, the suspect was described as a man in his late 20s, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and jeans.
Investigators are looking into whether or not the two robberies were committed by the same person.
No one was hurt in either incident, but both employees were traumatized from what they went through.
