TransGas will be conducting a controlled flare of natural gas near Regina Monday morning.
The flare will be south of Wascana Greens Crescent in the Wascana View subdivision and begin around 8:00 a.m. Monday morning.
Residents in southeast Regina and the White City/Emerald Park areas along with anyone travelling on Highways 1 and 33 east may see a 20-foot flare emitting from the 40-foot stacks.
TransGas says the flaring is an industry standard procedure done when natural gas needs to be released from pipelines.
The entire procedure is expected to last around 30 minutes, there will be no disruptions to natural gas services.
