Welcome back to our good old friend, winter. Wow. I don’t recall the weather person predicting this on the news last night! I guess I’ll have to go out to the shed and retrieve my snow shovel when I get home from work today. Oh well, at least we know it won’t be around for long.
I was planning on taking Max out to the dog park today for a good run. It would have been his first run since his operation and I know he’s been itching to get back out there, but it looks like that will have to wait for a while now. Sorry buddy. You can help me shovel the sidewalk later!
Congratulations to Dylan and Nina Peesker, Regina’s newest married couple. My wife and I took in the wedding and reception of this young couple on Saturday. It seemed like there were as many Albertans as there were Saskatchewanians at the wedding, so I guess the timing of this dump of snow couldn’t have worked out any better for those who were headed back west yesterday.
We had a good run in Assiniboia last week for the Spring Fever Lotto. When I got there on Wednesday we had more than 1400 tickets left. By the time the Early Bird draw was held on Saturday, there were only 865 tickets left. The final draw will go on Sunday May 28th, and I’ll be back out there from May 24-26, if there are still tickets available!
Have fun shoveling and driving today!
