Saskatchewan’s official opposition has been asking what the plan is for STC after it shuts down, from the transportation and service side and from the sell-off of assets point of view, but so far haven’t heard back from the government.
The NDP critic for STC says it’s not too late to reverse the decision adding the people have a right to know what’s happening with its assets.
Doyle Vermette says he has heard from the leaders in many smaller centres who are concerned because they are the ones least likely to get a private pus service to take its place.
He urges concerned citizens to contact their MLAs if they want STC to continue.
The service shuts down May 31st.
