The Saskatchewan Government is looking forward to working with the province’s Advocate for Children and Youth.
Tina Beaudry-Mellor, Minister of Social Services told reporters she is happy with the relationship she has been able to develop with Corey O’Soup so far.
“I’m really pleased with the relationship that I’ve had with the Children’s Advocate so far, I expect that relationship to continue. I’m a new minister so I have very limited experience with the former advocate, but certainly this advocate has been very accessible to me, and I appreciate that he has a vision for the office going forward,” Beaudry-Mellor said.
Beaudry-Mellor added, O’Soup is a strong resource that will be able to aid the continued improvements when it comes to meeting children’s needs.
