The mother of a 14 year old Regina boy found dead in an east end Regina creek in 2015 wants a coroner’s inquest into her son’s death.
Haven Dubois’ death was ruled as accidental, but Richelle Dubois is not buying that and continues to search for what she says is the truth surrounding the death.
Dubois isn’t sure such an inquest would give her the answers she is looking for, but it would go a long ways into restoring her belief into the justice system.
Dubois says dealing with the police and the coroner’s office since Haven’s death has been very frustrating with many questions left unanswered.
Regina police chief Evan Bray and mayor Michael Fougere say they will assist Dubois in contacting the Ministry of Justice for an inquest.
