Two events on Sunday, April 30th, are bound to create all sorts of traffic tie-ups through parts of Regina.
The Saskatchewan Blue Cross MS Walk will see hundreds of participants in the province taking part in the event which raises funds in the fight to end MS.
Walks will take place across Saskatchewan, including in Regina.
The walk in the Queen City begins at around 8:30 A.M. with the walk starting officially at 10:00 A.M. at the Tartan Curling Club.
Also on Sunday, the Regina Police Service Half Marathon takes place.
According to police, the RPS Half Marathon will affect some traffic flow in the city between approximately 7:00 A.M. and noon on Sunday, April 30th, only in the areas used by runners and walkers in the race.
There will also be barricades diverting traffic away from the Douglas Park/Canada Games Athletic Complex (race start and finish) so vehicles will not be permitted past the intersection of Wascana Drive and McDonald Street, or past the Douglas Place/Park Street points at the NE side of the Complex.
