The Regina Pats have won the WHL’s Eastern Conference.
Regina fell behind Lethbridge 3-0 in Game 6 of their best of 7 series, but the Pats fought back to tie the game at 4 after two periods thanks to two goals in the final five minutes of the period from Filip Ahl and Nick Henry.
In the 3rd period, Jeff De Wit scored at the 6:41 mark of the 3rd followed by a goal 60 seconds later by Austin Wagner as Regina won the series by a final score of 7-4 with Wyatt Sloboshan capping off the scoring into an empty net with 40 seconds to play.
The Pats will now take on the Seattle Thunderbirds in the Ed Chynoweth Cup final. The Thunderbirds advanced with a 3-1 win over Kelowna in Game 6 of the Western Conference Final.
The best of seven series will start Friday at the Brandt Centre beginning at 7. Here is how the schedule of final series

Tickets for the first two games go on sale Monday at Noon at the Brandt Centre ticket office, the Pats office, Ticketmaster and Canada Safeway locations in Regina when they open.
The winner heads to the Memorial Cup in Windsor, Ontario. The Pats have not been WHL champs since 1980.
