Reginans, and may across Saskatchewan, are thinking its more like mid-July than early May as the temperature got to 30 degrees celsius in some places Friday.
While Regina didn’t break a daily high for the warmest May 5 on record, Leader and Kindersley did. In fact, Leader was Canada’s hot spot at 33.2 degrees.
The forecast high for Regina is 28 degrees on Saturday, which would not be a record, but Environment Canada expects some locales to break records.
Temperatures will dip back down into the low 20’s and high teens on Monday.
