Mitch Picton says he will treat the weekend as he would any other one, but he will be with his family waiting for a phone call Sunday night.
The Regina Rams receiver is expected to go sometime in the late 2nd or 3rd round of the CFL draft.
Picton, who caught 58 passes for 800 yards and 11 touchdowns for the Rams this past season, says getting that call has been a dream of his and that it doesn’t matter what team calls him.
Picton feels he really raised his stock at the combine and that several teams have shown interest in him.
As for what team he would like to have call him Sunday night. Picton says it doesn’t matter.
Picton isn’t the only Ram expected to go.
Offensive lineman Jeremy Zver is expected to go around the midway mark of the eight round draft.
