You might notice how patriotic the Hill Centre Towers in downtown Regina is becoming.
Those iconic towers are in the process of being draped in red and white to celebrate Canada 150.
Regina-based Sleek Signs Ltd. is installing the vinyl wrap on the slopes of Hill Centre Towers I and II.
The two murals are made of over 10-thousand square feet of perforated vinyl. and are proudly commemorating the 150th Anniversary of Canada’s Confederation in 1867.
Harvard Developments along with its downtown building partners are proud to be part of the Canada 150 celebration.
“As Canadians, we have a rich and inspiring history which we are celebrating throughout our 150th year,” said Paul Hill, President and CEO of Harvard Developments Inc.
Mr. Hill along with his wife Carol, serve as official Canada 150 Ambassadors. “We all appreciate the freedoms and privileges associated with living in the greatest country in the world, and this mural will serve as a symbol of national pride for all in our community.”
Installation of the murals is expected to continue through May and will be officially be introduced at a public media event on City Square Plaza on June 1st.
