Either the Regina Pats or Seattle Thunderbirds will be one game away from a WHL championship and a trip to the Memorial Cup at the end of the night Friday.
The two teams meet in Seattle Friday night in Game 5 of the best of 7, with the series all even at 2 after Seattle’s 6-1 win in Game 4.
Pats Head Coach, John Paddock said Game 4 was ugly, but it wasn’t one where they throw the video out.
“I think there is lots of things to show, there always is in a game, there’s no perfect games so we’ll have some things to point out for sure,” Paddock said.
Pats forward, Sam Steel told reporters a 6-1 defeat in Game 4 means nothing when the two teams drop the puck Friday night for game five.
“This isn’t this first time we faced adversity this playoffs, I don’t think there’s any momentum in playoffs so we’ll come with a fresh start on Friday and we’re going to bring our best game,” said Steel.
Game time is 8:35 p.m. Friday night on 620 CKRM.
