Some criticism has been directed toward Saskatchewan’s Premier after the opposition NDP accused him of using a private email server for government business.
Brad Wall said he does have a couple personal email accounts, however none use the governments server.
Wall said the accounts are used as a connection while workng from his home, or while conducting business after regular hours of the day including weekends.
The Saskatchewan NDP have accused Wall of contacting former U.S. ambassador, David Wilkins, who now works for a law firm that has been hired by Saskatchewan to represent the province in Washington.
Interim NDP Leader Trent Wotherspoon says using a private server for government business is risky and wrong.
Premier Wall said the server was secure and the emails do not contain any particular information.
To eliminate any concern Wall will use a government email from now on.
