The NDP focussed its attack during Question Period on Premier Brad Wall and a private email address he used for government business, but one that the public has no access to
Opposition deputy leader Trent Wotherspoon wanted to know if there had ever been a breach of the server that the address is on.
Wall responded by saying he doesn’t believe it has but he is not aware. He emphasizes security measures at the server meet and exceed those needed for a government system.
Wall added all of the e-mails can be accessed in freedom of information requests.
Wotherspoon asked if the Premier had used his private address when negotiating the controversial Global Transportation Hub land deal, with Wall responding by saying he couldn’t be sure, but likely he did.
