Two people from Regina are facing a number of drug and gun-related charges after police initiated a major drug and firearm bust early Thursday morning.
The investigation started at 12:35 a.m. in the 800 block of Cameron Street.
According to police, their SWAT team, Drug Unit and Street Gangs Unit, and Canine Unit were called in to help with the investigation.
When on the scene, police found seven people; four were released, two were arrested and another was turned over to EMS for medical attention before being taken into custody later that day.
In the search, police seized two loaded guns, ammunition, cocaine, meth, prescription pills, weapons, cash and drug paraphernalia (digital scales, packaging, cellular devices, etc.).
Shaundel Aisaican, 29, and Stephanie Aisaican, 45, are jointly charged with various drug trafficking and firearm charges.
Shaundel is also facing other charges — including a breach of probation and posession of proceeds of property obtained by crime.
Both Stephanie and Shaundel Aisaican will make their court appearances on these charges in Provincial Court on Friday morning.
Terrance Desnomie, 23, of the Regina area has also been charged with breach of recognizance. He has since been released for court on June 28.
