It is a big weekend for two members of the Regina Pats looking to get drafted in this month’s NHL entry draft.
Forwards Nick Henry and Jake Leschyshyn are two of 57 players attending the NHL’s scouting combine in Buffalo.
The NHL Scouting Combine provides an opportunity for teams to meet and interview prospects as well as see them physically tested in an off-ice setting.
Henry, who had 81 points in 72 games, was the 25th ranked North American skater in the final Central Scouting rankings while Leschyshyn was ranked 42nd after a season cut short due to a knee injury where he had 40 points in 47 games.
The NHL entry draft goes June 23 and 24 at the United Center in Chicago.
