The Saskatchewan Roughriders have given up a 5th round draft pick in the 2018 CFL draft to select linebacker Brandyn Bartlett in the supplemental draft Thursday.
The 6-foot-1, 230-pound Bartlett played at Tusculum College in Tennessee where he recorded 169 tackles over his 22-game career, in addition to five career forced fumbles — the ninth-most in program history.
A 23-year-old from Vancouver. Washington recently proved his Canadian citizenship and was granted his national status.
The move comes a year after the Riders picked Kevin Francis in the supplemental draft with their 3rd round pick.
