The city’s traffic plan for events at Mosaic Stadium will be put to the test Saturday as the Saskatchewan Roughriders play their first ever game at their new home.
Fans are reminded about road closures and the fact there will be no parking inside Evraz Place unless you have a permit.
The Riders Gregg Sauter says the easiest way to get to and from the stadium is by taking the bus with Regina Transit operating direct routes to and from the stadium from four Regina malls and two locations downtown.
While fans get into the game by going through any of the four entrances into the stadium, Sauter does advise you look at what gate you are supposed to go through on your ticket.
He adds most of the bells and whistles that are associated with the new stadium as far as the game-day presentation goes will be unfurled at the season opener on Canada Day.
