Saskatchewan now has an avenue for start-up tech companies to find success with the announcement of funding for Co.Labs.
Co.Labs is a technology incubator offering professional support services such as legal, accounting, coordinated events, and access to funding companies who have new innovative ideas that may not have the knowledge to launch a successful tech company.
Conrad Neufeldt created Kasper, a mobile app that allows the user to gather all the information they need to get a mortgage in one place. He has been part of the Beta version of Co.Labs for the last two weeks.
Neufeldt says it has helped his company with a variety of things.
Co.Labs received $250,000 from the province last week to help foster the growth of the incubator.
This is the first-ever technology incubator in the province; Saskatchewan is the last province in Canada to get one.
