Earlier this month, the Saskatchewan government raised the flag month Pride celebrations throughout the province.
And this morning, the City of Regina did the same.
The Queen City Pride Festival got underway with the official flag raising at city hall.
Regina’s festival features a series of events, organized by Regina Pride and other community organizations.
Other Pride events are taking place in Saskatchewan this month, along with Prince Albert Pride, Saskatoon Pride, Moose Jaw Pride, and Southwest Saskatchewan Pride.
These festivals take place during Saskatchewan’s “Pride Month”, as proclaimed by the Government of Saskatchewan each year.
