Good news for those looking for rain.
Southern Saskatchewan is about to get a good soaking from border-to-border over the next few days.
Environment Canada’s John Paul Cragg says fields in need of rain should get some with most areas seeing between 15-30 millimeters before a system in Manitoba moves out.
Fields in the southern grainbelt are very parched so the rain will be coming at a welcome time.
Cragg adds more could come on the weekend, but exact amounts if it should happen are not known at this time.
