Regina Police along with Winnipeg Police have arrested two more suspects and charged them with first degree murder related to the death of 51-year-old Daniel Dipaolo.
DiPaolo was found dead in his home in the 700 block of Garnet Street on April 29 – in what was the first murder in Regina of 2017.
Continued investigation in this case led investigators to Winnipeg, Manitoba.
There, as the result of a joint investigation with homicide detectives of the Winnipeg Police Service, three men were identified as suspects in the case.
Two of the three suspects were arrested by Regina Police Service members on June 14, 2017; both were in custody in Winnipeg on matters unrelated to the DiPaolo homicide.
They were subsequently charged in connection with the DiPaolo case.
The two men, already in custody in Winnipeg are 34-year-old Christopher Matthew Brass and 25-year-old Malcom Mitchell.
Police are also now looking for 31-year-old Johnathon Edward Kakewash who is now wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant related to the case.
