The City of Regina has wrapped up its tent caterpillar program.
Fourteen thousand trees were sprayed this year and Russell Eirich, the manager of forestry, pest control and horticulture with the City of Regina, says it went pretty well.
Eirich says things wrapped up last week in the Glencairn and South Albert areas.
According to Eirich, the biggest battle wasn’t against the bugs — it was against the wind.
The spray program cost the city around $41,000, which works out to about $3 per tree.
