Rob Belyk says he is thankful two women came to aid another who had become trapped after the porta potty she was in was tipped over on Canada Day.
A 57-year old woman was in the porta potty at 11:30 p.m. when somebody tipped it onto its door.
The Co-chair of Optimist Day Canada 2017 says two women rushed to the scene, got the victim out of the porta potty, and one woman gave her pair of pants to the victim.
The 57-year old woman was traumatized by the event and is in hospital recovering from heart-related issues.
Belyk says the porta potties are interlocked and one would need to be lifted out of its spot before it could be tipped.
Police are still searching for the suspects who tipped the porta potty.
