Three people were taken to hospital, one with serious injuries after a two-vehicle collision Friday afternoon on Highway 11 at Exit A about 6 kilometers north of the city.
Lumsden RCMP say a mini-van travelling east on Highway 734 hit an SUV going north on Highway 11 around 3 o’clock.
The driver of the van, an 85 year old man, was transported to a Regina hospital with serious injuries while the driver and passenger of the SUV, both men in their 80’s, were sent to a Regina hospital with injuries considered non-life threatening.
The accident forced a temporary restriction and closure of the road for about 4 hours.
The accident remains under investigation.
